Doing Business Together

Delivery
Loveland Pet Products operates a fleet of trucks to make customer deliveries within our established delivery system. Each store is assigned a delivery day and space is allocated on the truck specifically for stock delivered to that store. A handling and delivery surcharge is added to each delivery based on the size and frequency of store orders.

UPS & Motor Freight
Occasionally Loveland Pet Pet Products will elect to send a customer order via UPS or Motor Freight. You do not incur any additional charges if your order is sent UPS or Motor Freight for the convenience of Loveland Pet Products. For orders outside of our delivery system, we will happily ship these orders via UPS or Motor Freight at the customer's expense provided the order meets minimum order requirements. We need only 24 hours to process your order*. UPS and Motor Freight orders will be shipped the day after the order is received. We do not ship some items like aquariums, glass bowls, and set up cages via UPS due to damage in shipment. Also, you may want to note that we do not prepay shipment of bulk bird foods, pet foods, cedar bedding, gravel, cat litter, and synthetic salt.

Non-Stock & Special Orders
We are happy to special order select items offered by our manufacturers. Since we don't stock these products, we ask that you order them in the quantities required by the manufacturer. When you call to inquire about special orders, we'll gladly tell you the case pack and the expected time for delivery. Special orders are noncancellable and nonreturnable through Loveland Pet Products.

Prices and Discounts
The prices listed in our catalog and printed product lists are F.O.B. our warehouse and are subject to change without notice. Orders are invoiced at the prevailing price at the time of shipment. We offer special discounts for Trade Shows and feature a variety of products on sale each month in our Monthly Specials. Ask your sales representative for details.

Warehouse Pickup
If you'd like to pickup your order at our warehouse, just place your order of at least $350 with our Customer Service Representative at least 24 hours in advance. Our hours for warehouse pickup are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are located in the Mason Commerce Park off Western Row Road (between Snider Road and Route 42) in Mason, Ohio - remember, we're not located in the village of Loveland. Payment at Delivery
Payment for initial shipment is due upon receipt, by cash, company check, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard--minimum $350 at the time of order entry). You'll want to pay from your account statement. The account statement shows the current balance for your account, including invoices and account adjustments. We're happy to accept business checks from customers who have completed our credit application and received approval from our credit department. Future orders can also be paid on delivery. Our drivers are happy to assist you with payment help--or just call our office.

Payment on Open Accounts
Our established accounts with good credit ratings receive 7 day terms, provided they place an order every week. To establish an open account, please contact our Credit Manager, Jane Bohman. With your good credit rating and a completed application signed by your owners and/or officers, we'll open an account.

Service Charge
A finance charge computed at a rate of 2% per month which is an annual rate of 24% will be added to balances that are unpaid after 30 days. A $25.00 service charge will be made for the extra handling of non-sufficient funds checks returned by the bank.

Returns
Returns are accepted for defective products, broken (damaged) products or wrong items/quantity. If you will be returning an item, you must contact us within 24 hours of your delivery. We will give you an authorization number and instructions to return the items. A Return Item form is included with each delivery. This form must be completed, including the return authorization number, and returned with the product. Please note, your account will be credited after your return has been inspected at our warehouse. In accordance with our vendors' credit policies, we reserve the right to inspect all returned goods prior to issuing any credit.
